RFP & RFQ

The City of Olympia often hires consultants to assist on individual projects. Current Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) are listed on this page. If you are interested in being considered for a specific project, download the RFP/RFQ.

18th Avenue Half-Street Improvement Phase 3 Project

The City of Olympia Public Works Department is seeking a consultant to provide Surface and Wetland Water Level Modeling for the 18th Avenue Half-Street Improvement Phase 3 Project. The purpose of the modeling is to assess the impacts of two proposed stormwater ponds on the adjacent wetlands and groundwater in the immediate vicinity of the ponds.

All proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009.  Mail-in submittals must be postmarked no later than October 8, 2009.  No faxed or telephone proposals will be accepted. Contact Jim Rioux, Project Manager, with any questions at 360.753.8484 or email publicworks@ci.olympia.wa.us

In-Car Video Project

The Olympia Police Department is pleased to announce an opportunity for qualified vendors to submit proposals for supplying the Department with digital in-car video equipment and related infrastructure.  While this initial Project is small, the City has committed to making in-car video equipment standard in its patrol vehicles in the future.  So, it is anticipated that the successful vendor – assuming available funding and excellent product and support staff performance on this Project – will get additional business from the City during the next 5-10 years.

Due to the size of the Project and a desire to encourage broad vendor participation, the Department has elected to use a less formal Request for Information (RFI) process in this procurement.  The following files comprise the RFI application packet:

All responses to this RFI must be received, as specified, by 5:00 PM PT on Friday, November 6, 2009.  Contact information for the Project is provided in the RFI document.
