Small Works Roster
Welcome to Small Works Online: The City of Olympia Small Works Roster is currently open through December 31, 2009. Contractors may apply for placement on the Roster at any time throughout the year; however, a new form must be submitted annually to maintain eligibility.* Apply now for the Small Works Roster.
The Purpose of the Small Works Roster is to expedite the solicitation and award of bids on municipal projects under $200,000, by reducing the requirements for formal sealed bidding, advertising, and bid awards. Services may include installation, construction, remodeling, improvement or repair, other than the ordinary maintenance on real property owned or leased by the City of Olympia.
Guideline Information: When small works projects become available, all contractors recorded on the Small Works Roster in the appropriate category or categories shall be invited to bid. The projects will require in general that:
- Prevailing wages be paid and documented in compliance with RCW 39.12.
- A Performance Bond be executed in compliance with RCW 39.08 before beginning work.
- The Contractor holds a current Washington State Contractor's License.
- Contractor must deliver a certificate of insurance naming the City as additionally insured before beginning work.
- Contractor must have a current City of Olympia Business License before beginning work.
- Contractor shall be in good standing regarding L&I premium payment prior to award of any contract.
- The Contractor complies with the City of Olympia's Nuclear Free Ordinance.
