The options program includes Day Jail, Electronic Home Monitoring, and Work Crew. If you have been ordered to serve time on the options program you must report to the Olympia Probation Day Reporting Center at 825-D Legion Way within 48 hours of sentencing (not including weekends and holidays). Bring your copy of the court order given to you at the time of sentencing. Failure to report may result in a warrant for your arrest.
Olympia Probation Option Programs

Electric Home Monitoring (EHM) :
The most restrictive of the Options Programs is EHM. A program where the client is affixed with an electonic anklet that monitors movement. Clients are confined to their own homes, and allowed only to leave for work, school, approved medical appointments, court hearings, or probation appointments.
Day Jail :
Day Jail is held in the Day Reporting Center (Probation Department). Clients are required to remain on site, in a designated room, for 8 hours a day. Day Jail begins at 8 am and ends at 4 pm. Clients are given 1 hour for lunch, off site, on their own.
Work Crew :
Work Crew is a manual labor that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the citizens of Olympia. The work crew spends much of it's time completing community betterment projects throughout the City. All work is completed under the direct supervision of the Work Crew Supervisor. Basic safety equipment is provided. Participants are encouraged to wear leather work boots. Work Crew is currently a 6 hour commitment daily, from 9 am to 4 pm. Clients are given a 1 hour lunch, off site, on their own. Participants may earn up to 25% good time provided that all fees are paid in full and the participant complies wiht all program rules.

Day Jail - $10 daily
MRT - $30 monthly
ISP - $50 monthly
