Collective Bargaining
is a process of negotiation between management and union representatives for the purpose of arriving at mutually acceptable wages and working conditions for employees. Union contracts are usually bargained to remain in effect for two to three years but may cover longer or shorter periods of time.
The City of Olympia has 5 Collective Bargaining Unit Agreements.
