Public Works Business Plan 2008
Public Works is excited to share our updated Strategic Business Plan.  This plan conveys what we believe in and takes us on our journey to reach our vision – “balance and harmony between people and nature.” 

This is the vision we are loyal to, why we take the risks we do, why we are continuing to grow as both a department and as individuals. This vision came into focus in 1999 when Public Works employees gathered to commit to creating a sustainable future for Olympia.  Since then, we have added layers of muscle and definition, continuing on our journey to reach our vision.  What has emerged is a work of art.

So, are we done yet?  We are never done.  This plan is organic; it will always be growing and changing as we advance in our thinking through our experiences and conversations.  That is our way in Public Works.
