OPARD manages several undeveloped park properties that will likely not have funds for full development for several years. In an effort to provide opportunities for public enjoyment of these parcels in these intervening years between acquisition and development, OPARD implements Interim Use and Management Plans (IUMPs) for these parcels. A modest budget allows minor improvements at these parks such as benches, picnic tables, swing sets, trails, and/or unirrigated play meadows. The following is the IUMP schedule:

• Buchanan Parcel  - Improvements completed in 2007
• Mission Creek Park - Improvements completed in 2007
• Marie's Vineyard - Improvements in progress. To be completed Summer 2008
• Cain Road Neighborhood Park - Plan finalized September 2007. To be implemented 2008
• Evergreen Park Drive Park - Plan to be finalized February, 2008. To be implemented 2008
• 8th Avenue Neighborhood Park - Public input workshop January, 2008. To be implemented 2008/2009
