Chehalis Western Trail North: This approximately 5.2 miles of trail is a great place to walk or bike.  Not only is there no traffic, it also connects five communities.  The site is barrier-free, so it is ADA accessibile.  You can access the trail along the 4000 block of Martin Way, near bus stops, and at cross streets, including 26th Avenue and South Bay Road.  Park off Woodard Bay Road, just north of Lemon Road.  Visit Thurston County Parks' website for more information about the Chehalis Western Trail.

Chehalis Western Trail South: This approximately 14 miles of paved trail is another great trail for biking and walking.  One of its highlights includes the 126-foot pedestrian bridge across Yelm Highway.  The trail has facilities to park, as well as restrooms and picnic tables at the Chambers Lake Boat Launch on 14th Avenue, SE, just west of the old tressel.  You can access the trail from other road crossings, including Yelm Highway, east of Indian Summer Golf Course.  Visit Thurston County Parks' website for more information about the Chehalis Western Trail.

Friendly Grove Park: A great place for children and adults to skate and/or skateboard.  This park is located at  2316 Friendly Grove Road, NE.  It is a court designed for novice skaters with .33 miles of paved loop trail.  This site is also barrier-free for ADA accessibility.  For park features and map visit our parks page.

I-5 Bike Path: This paved trail offers 2.75 miles of paved trail from downtown Olympia (where Chestnut Street dead ends at I-5) to Lacey.  Access the trail at Chestnut Street, Henderson Boulevard, Eastside Street, Boulevard Road, Pacific Avenue, and Sleater-Kinney Road.
