Rates - Waste ReSources Commercial/Drop Box

What is the Commercial Rate Increase ? There is a 1% rate increase for commercial customers.  It covers new services planned though the Master Plan, such as technical assistance, support of a 65% recycling requirement, and recyling options in public areas.

Drop Box/Compactor Hauling: Costs to haul a small container are no different than the costs of hauling a large container.  Yet, small container customers have enjoyed hauling fees less than the actual cost.  A new fee structure gives the customer the opportunity to make the best cost and waste minimization decision.  Fee increases vary by container size and were designed to cover full cost.  Download a copy of our drop box fees price list

Understanding Drop Box Fees:  Fees are made up of two parts.

  • The cost of hauling and renting containers; and
  • The cost of disposing or recycling the contents at various sites - charged as direct pass through plus applicable taxes.
