Our Key Services:

• Design and construct new stormwater facilities to achieve flood management, treat contaminated stormwater runoff, and protect aquatic habitats from stormwater impacts.
• Maintain and upgrade existing facilities.
• Operate and maintain 127 miles of pipes and ditches, and over 4,000 street drains.
• Monitor water quality and aquatic habitat for regulatory compliance and habitat protection.
• Review new development engineering plans to ensure adequate drainage controls are in place.
• Provide technical assistance for builders and homeowners.
• Educate our community through the OLYWAter School Program, field trips and lectures, “Drain Dare” stormwater education trailer, “Be Nice to Budd,” and “You Can be a Salmon Steward” outreach.
• Administer the utility (billing, planning, mapping).
• Address problems associated with urban stormwater.
