Ad-hoc Transportation Advisory Committee
On August 12, 2008, the Olympia City Council approved the formation and membership of the new Ad-hoc Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC). The purpose of ATAC is to advise City Council on the development of the Transportation Mobility Strategy. Specifically, the committee will assist in:
- Establishing clear success measures for the Transportation Mobility Strategy work effort from the community's perspective;
- Reviewing and commenting on the consultant's work products;
- Making recommendations on the final plan to the City Council;
- Serving as ambassadors for the project; and
- Making a recommendation on how to provide formalized, on-going citizen involvement in transportation issues.
The committee held their final meeting on Monday, May 11, 2009.
