Meeting minutes are the official record of City Council action. In Olympia, the City's Executive office produces the Council meetings minutes, and the City Clerk's office maintains the official record for posterity. To request copies of prior year Council meeting minutes, please submit a Public Records request to the City Clerk's Office.
The minutes are posted after review and approval by the City Council.
Approved minutes for Olympia City Council meetings are posted in two areas of this website:
- Minutes for televised City Council meetings - usually held on Tuesday evenings in the City Council Chambers - are posted as part of the City's contracted service for Council meeting video streaming.
- Minutes for non-televised City Council meetings - usually Council Committee meetings and special study session meetings - are posted as pdf files on a separate page of this website.
