Rates and Fees
Parking is enforced Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Parking is FREE on evenings, weekends, and City-recognized holidays.

Parking Meters:
If you come downtown on a regular basis, consider purchasing a parking meter debit card. Parking meter cards can be used in 9- and 3-hour meters. Below is a list of the charges for 15 minute, 3- and 9-hour meters.
3-hour Meters |
Green Domed Meter: 3-hour limit - 50¢ per hour. The first 16 minutes are free. If the meter is at zero (flashing 00:00). Push the button before inserting change for additional time. Then wait before inserting coins or Parking Meter Debit Card to ensure time registers. For locations, download the downtown parking map. |
9-hour meters

Silver Domed Meter: 9-hour limit - 35¢ per hour. The first 16 minutes are free. If the meter is at zero (flashing 00:00). Push the button before inserting change for additional time. 15-min Meters

Yellow Domed Meter: 15 minute limit - A penny, nickel, or dime will give you 15 minutes. |
Non-metered (timed) Parking:
There are timed parking stalls in several residential neighborhoods. These areas are monitored with handheld computers. Moving to avoid a ticket is prohibited in all residential neighborhoods.
