Co-Sponsorships
Business and community co-sponsorships, in the form of in-kind and financial donations, are the keystones to making special events at Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation so successful. Whether it is Ethnic Celebration, where 5,000 community members can spend the day celebrating culture at no charge, or supporting the largest Arts Walk in the region, co-sponsorships help us build community through special events.
Parks, Arts, Recreation & Cultural Foundation (PARC)
The PARC Foundation was established as a 501(c) 3 non-profit Washington State organization with articles of incorporation and bylaws. Tax deductible contributions allow for the preservation and enhancement of parks, arts, recreation and cultural opportunities for the Thurston County area. Contributions can be broad-based or designated to specific programs and projects. No funds go towards administration. Recent projects funded by the PARC Foundation include, the Olympia Skate Court and the Bigelow Springs Butterfly Garden. For more information, visit their website at

"FUN FUND" Financial Assistance Program
At Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation, we feel that every family should have the opportunity to participate in recreational programs regardless of income. The "Fun Fund" has been established through private contributions from the community to make recreational programs available to those in need.
