Will carts be collected?

In most circumstances, unless the conditions are such that it is not safe for our drivers to be on the road, our drivers will make every effort to collect. Occasionally, some residential streets and alleys cannot be collected, due to unsafe road conditions. If your cart is not collected on your regular collection day, due to snow and ice conditions, just leave your cart out and it will be collected as soon as conditions allow.

Garbage Service May Be Late:

Please be aware that certain conditions may slow or alter collection routes. This may result in your cart being collected later than normal. Please wait until after 2:30 p.m. to call if you think your cart has been missed, or check this website for updates on changes to service. Call 360.753.8368, option 1.

Sidewalks

Does the City Clear Sidewalks?

No. Sidewalks are not shoveled or cleared by City staff, as we do not have the resources. We could use your help. Please do your part to keep the sidewalk in front of your home or business clear of snow and ice.

Power Outages

Power is supplied by Puget Sound Energy. Call them if you need to report a power outage, or to receive updates for power being restored. Call 1.888.225.5773.
