Olympia Community Festivals
Historically, the City of Olympia has formally sponsored, supported, and/or permitted the following community festivals and events.  Inclusion on the list does not denote reservation of the date for future years or that a permit has been issued for 2008.

January
Ethnic Celebration (4th Saturday) - downtown Olympia at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts.  The Ethnic Celebration is sponsored by the City of Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation Department.  Experience It!

April
Spring Arts Walk (Friday & Saturday, April 25-26, 2008) - various locations thorughout downtown Olympia.  Arts Walk is sponsored by the City of Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation Department.  Experience It!
Procession of the Species (Saturday of Arts Walk, April 26, 2008) - downtown Olympia.  Sponsored by Earthbound Productions.
Dragon Boat Festival (Sunday, April 27, 2008) - Heritage Park and Capital Lake in downtown Olympia.  Sponsored by St. Martin's University.

Olympia Wooden Boat Festival (Mother's Day weekend, May 10-11, 2008) - Percival Landing Boardwalk, downtown Olympia.  Sponsored by the Olympia Wooden Boat Association.
Capital City Marathon (3rd Sunday) - route throughout Olympia

Super Saturday (2nd Saturday) at The Evergreen State College.  Sponsored by The Evergreen State College.
