Construction News - Pear Street Alley Stormwater Improvements

This project will construct a grass-lined channel within the existing alley right-of-way behind Rose Street.  The channel will disperse stormwater that is currently floods yards and crawlspaces of area homes.  The project will provide a solution to a reoccurring problem in the area.  A City Survey crew will be in the area to stake the alley right-of-way during the week of September 14, 2009. 

Schedule:

The City will construct this project before the heavy winter rains.  The project is currently scheduled to be complete by mid-November of this year.  We will contact area residents soon to schedule an onsite meeting to discuss the project in detail.
