Construction News - Decatur Street Improvements
Overview:
The Decatur Street Sidewalk and Traffic Calming Project constructed sidewalk and bike lanes on the west side of Decatur Street from 11th Avenue to 13th Avenue. The sidewalks are part of the Parks & Pathways program. Access ramps were installed at the intersection corners. Three traffic calming devices were installed along Decatur to reduce traffic speed. A traffic circle was constructed at the intersection of Decatur and 14th Avenue and another at 11th Avenue. A traffic bump was placed between 12th and 13th Avenue. View the Project Map (PDF).
Project Completed:
Construction was completed in August 2009.
