Construction News - East Bay Sewer Lift Station
Description: This project will rehabilitate the East Bay Sanitary Sewer Lift Station. Rehabilitation work consists of removing and replacing pumps and other accessories; applying an epoxy coating to the inner walls of the lift station; replacing the concrete steps and retaining wall; and installing a handrail, chain link fence and water service.
Location: East Bay Drive, near Berry Street.
Schedule: Construction is scheduled to begin in late January and continue through mid-March 2009.
Project Impacts: Only minor traffic impacts are expected. Large trucks will enter and exit the site off East Bay Drive. Construction equipment with some construction noise is expected.
