These projects are in the design, permitting, or right-of-way acquisition phase. The design phase involves the preparation of the plans and specifications for upcoming construction projects.

Boulevard Road Sidewalk 

  • Location: Boulevard Road, on the east side from 22nd to 30th Avenues, and on the west side from 30th Avenue to Washington Middle School

  • Location: Martin Way, from Devoe Street to 250 feet east of Ensign Road

  • Location: 318 State Avenue, downtown Olympia
  • Estimated Construction Start: Early September, 2009

18th Avenue and Fones Road Corridor Improvements, Phases 2 and 3

  • Location: Phase 2 - 18th Avenue from Fones Road, where Phase 1 improvements ended, north along Fones Road for approximately 250 feet and west along 18th Avenue to Redwood Estates. Phase 3 - continue on 18th Avenue from Redwood Estates to Boulevard Road
  • Estimated Construction Start: Phase 2 - Spring, 2010. Phase 3 - Summer, 2010.
