Downtown Olympia Traffic Impacts:

• State Data Center Project: Work near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Jefferson Street, is related to construction of the new State Department of Information Services building, also called the Wheeler Project. For more information and updates on the project, visit the DIS website.

Eastside Olympia Traffic Impacts:

• 18th Avenue SE and Fones Road/Phase 2: On Tuesday, September 21, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 18th Avenue SE, between the intersections of Hoffman Road and Fones Road will be closed. View the alternate route map or view details about this project on the project page.
• 18th Avenue Sewer Main: Construction will cause significant traffic impacts between August 16 and September 24, as crews will be installing sewer lines between Craig Road and Bouelvard Road, constructing the roundabouts at Hoffman Road and Fones Road, and paving 18th Avenue from Fones Road to Redwood Estates. Expect up to 30-minute delays at times. View alternate route map and the project page for more information.

South Olympia Traffic Impacts:

• Henderson Boulevard: Construction of the Henderson Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Project will cause the southbound traffic lane on Henderson Boulevard, from North Street to Yelm Highway, to close September 22 to October 31, 2010, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Only northbound traffic will be allowed during this period. Both lanes will open up to provide two-way traffic flow in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate routes are available to motorists traveling southbound. See Alternate Routes Map.
