Boulevard Road and Log Cabin Paving

Finally, a break in the weather!  On Wednesday, October 28, 2009 the contractor will pave the west leg of Log Cabin and the south leg of Boulevard Road.  Paving will begin after the morning rush hour (after 8:00 a.m.) and continue through the day.  Delays will be encountered during the paving.  Please drive with caution through the project area and obey the directions of the flaggers.  Other traffic control devices will also be in place.  Boulevard Road traffic will still utilize the bypass road after paving is completed; Log Cabin traffic will use the paved portion up to the bypass road.  It is anticipated that this phase of paving will be completed by the end of the day Wednesday.  The weather forecast calls for dry weather; however, as before, significant rainfall will again delay the paving.  Paving these portions of road will greatly increase driver safety, decrease ponding, and reduce the potential for potholes in those areas.
