Olympia, WA.  The Olympia City Council is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on one of Olympia's advisory committees.  Application deadline is Monday, February 28, 5:00 p.m.  Committee information and the application form are posted on the City of Olympia website, www.olympiawa.gov. 

Twenty-five (25) positions on eight (8) different committees will be open for appointment as March 31:

• Arts Commission – 3 citizen-at-large positions
• Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee – 3 citizen-at-large positions
• Design Review Board – 2 citizen-at-large positions and 1 architect position
• Heritage Commission – 5 citizen-at-large positions
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee – 2 citizen-at-large positions and 1 person representing agencies eligible to provide Lodging Tax funded tourism service
• Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee – 3 citizen-at-large positions
• Planning Commission – 3 citizen-at-large positions
• Utility Advisory Committee – 3 citizen-at-large positions
